Llandow is a small rural parish in the Vale of Glamorgan, in south Wales, set among rolling farmland a few miles west of Cowbridge and within easy reach of Cardiff. The landscape is typically pastoral, with scattered hamlets and lanes that give a quiet, agricultural character to the area.
The parish grew up around the former RAF airfield at Llandow, later used for civil flying and a short‑lived motor racing circuit; the site is also associated with the tragic 1950 air disaster and today hosts the long‑running agricultural Llandow Show on the old circuit.
