Keynsham East

Keynsham East is the eastern electoral ward of the market town of Keynsham in the unitary authority of Bath and North East Somerset, sitting roughly midway between Bristol and Bath. The ward is largely suburban and residential, with local shops, schools and parks, and enjoys good transport links along the A4 and by rail from Keynsham station, while being close to the River Avon and surrounding green belt countryside.

Locally notable features reflect the town’s industrial and market history - from the ruins of Keynsham Abbey to the former Cadbury/Somerdale works nearby - and the area has a mixed, commuter‑oriented population alongside longstanding community groups and neighbourhood associations.
