Odd Down

Odd Down is an electoral ward and suburb of Bath in the unitary authority of Bath and North East Somerset, England, sitting on the southern approaches to the city roughly two miles from the centre. It is largely residential, with a mix of post‑war estates and newer housing, and includes green spaces such as the Odd Down Playing Fields and a Park & Ride that helps link the area into the city’s road network.

Locally there are primary schools, small shops, community facilities and active sports clubs that use the playing fields, and many residents commute into Bath or beyond. The ward grew as part of 20th‑century suburban expansion of the city, so it feels suburban rather than historic, but benefits from easy access to Bath’s Georgian centre and regular community events and activities.
