Creekmoor

Creekmoor is an electoral ward in the northern suburbs of the unitary authority of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole in England. It is largely a residential area with a mix of post‑war council and private housing, sitting on the approaches to Poole town centre and enjoying reasonably direct commuter links into the wider Poole and Bournemouth conurbation.

Historically the neighbourhood grew up from rural land into a mid‑20th‑century suburb, and today it centres on local shops, schools and community facilities. There’s a strong local community feel with sports clubs and volunteer groups, and the ward’s proximity to parks and heathland gives it a slightly semi‑rural character despite being part of the urban borough. Economically most residents work in nearby towns or the wider Bournemouth/Poole labour market, rather than in large employers within the ward itself.
