The Talbot & Branksome Woods electoral ward sits on the edge of Bournemouth and Poole within the unitary authority of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. It takes in the leafy suburban districts of Talbot Woods and Branksome Woods, a band of wooded streets and villas that grew as Bournemouth expanded in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
