Wilsden is a hilltop village and civil parish in the City of Bradford, West Yorkshire, sitting on the edge of moorland between Bradford and Keighley. The settlement is characterised by stone-built terraces and former mill buildings from the industrial era, giving it a compact, traditional feel despite being only a short commute from larger towns.
Historically shaped by textiles and local quarrying, Wilsden now mixes small local businesses, a primary school, village hall and community groups with a largely commuter population. It’s popular with walkers for routes onto the surrounding moors and for wide views down the Aire Valley towards the Pennines, and retains a strong local identity rooted in its industrial past.
