Haddenham is a large village and civil parish in Buckinghamshire, England, lying in the Aylesbury Vale close to the Oxfordshire border. It still feels distinctly rural, with surrounding farmland, a conservation area of timber‑framed and thatched houses and an historic parish church dating largely from the medieval period.
The village has an active community life with clubs, pubs and local events and, while historically agricultural, it has become partly a commuter settlement thanks to Haddenham & Thame Parkway station which links directly to Oxford and London. The name itself stems from Old English (essentially “Headda’s homestead”) and there are several local heritage sites and amenities that reflect its long rural history.
