Swaffham Prior is a village and civil parish in East Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire, England, set on the edge of the low-lying Cambridgeshire Fens. It lies a few miles north‑east of Cambridge and close to Burwell, with the flat, open landscape making the village an obvious local landmark.
The settlement is notable for its twin medieval church towers of St Mary and St Cyriac and St Julitta, visible for miles across the fenland. Historically agricultural with arable farms and grazing marshes, the village today combines farming with a commuter population and an active community life centred on a village hall, a local pub and regular seasonal events.
