Stow cum Quy is a small, rural village and civil parish in South Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire, England, lying a few miles to the east of Cambridge. It occupies a pleasant spot on the edge of the low-lying fen countryside, with narrow lanes, farmland and watercourses close by, making it popular for walking and cycling.
The village has medieval roots and retains a number of historic cottages and a village church, but today it is a mix of traditional agricultural activity and people who commute into Cambridge and the nearby science and technology parks. Local life is quiet and community-focused, centred on village events and the village hall, with the nearby waterways such as the River Cam adding to the rural, peaceful character.
