Ramsey is a small market town in historic Huntingdonshire, now administered within Cambridgeshire, England. Sited on slightly higher ground in the Fens beside the River Great Ouse, it grew up around the medieval Ramsey Abbey and retains a compact centre of older buildings and a strong sense of local history.
Today the town still has an agricultural hinterland and a local market economy but also functions as a commuter base for nearby Peterborough.
