Budock is a rural parish in Cornwall, in the south‑west of England, a few miles west of the port of Falmouth and close to Penryn. It centres on the village of Budock Water and is characterised by rolling farmland, hedgerows and small woodlands; many residents commute to nearby towns while local life still revolves around the village hall and church.
The area has a long history, with a historic church dedicated to St Budock and a number of listed Georgian and Victorian houses, and a network of footpaths linking it to the south Cornish coast. A mix of small‑scale farming, community events and countryside conservation keeps the parish popular with walkers and anyone wanting quieter Cornish countryside within easy reach of the coast.
