Budock Water is a small village in rural Cornwall, England, lying just a couple of miles west of Falmouth and close to Penryn. Set in a wooded valley of hedgerowed lanes and mixed farmland, it has the compact feel of a traditional Cornish parish with stone cottages and lanes that give easy access to the south Cornish coast and estuaries.
The village retains a strong local identity centred on its parish church - dedicated to the Celtic saint Budoc - and on community amenities such as the village hall and a village pub. Historically agricultural, the local economy now mixes farming with tourism and commuting to nearby towns; social life tends to revolve around seasonal events, conservation interests and the network of clubs and societies that keep a small community lively.
