Chacewater is a small village and civil parish in central Cornwall, tucked into gently rolling countryside between Truro and Redruth. Its compact centre and surrounding hamlets sit within the old mining landscape of west Cornwall, making it a quiet base close to larger towns yet still very much rural in character.
Historically the parish was shaped by tin and copper mining, and traces of that industrial past punctuate the countryside; today many residents commute to nearby towns but the village retains a strong local life, with community groups, a village hall and a pub, plus walking routes that make the most of the area's scenic, historic setting.
