Keresley is a civil parish on the north‑west edge of Coventry in England, sitting on the city’s urban‑rural fringe. It retains a village feel with a small historic core and surrounding greenbelt countryside, offering a mix of older homes and newer housing developments and easy access to open fields and local footpaths.
The area grew as a coal‑mining community around Keresley Colliery, which closed in the early 1990s, and since then former pit land has been redeveloped for housing and light employment. Local life is still shaped by village institutions such as the primary school, community centre and sports clubs, while many residents commute into Coventry for work, combining quiet village character with city convenience.
