Bradworthy is a small village and civil parish in the district of Torridge, in north‑west Devon, England, sitting close to the border with Cornwall and within easy reach of the coastal town of Bude. It occupies rolling farmland and is best known for having one of the largest village greens in England, a broad open space still used for fairs, fetes and community events.
The local economy is largely agricultural, supported by small businesses, a handful of pubs and community‑run services, and the built environment reflects a long history with a medieval parish church and traditional stone cottages. There’s a strong village spirit, regular clubs and events on the green, and the location makes it a handy base for exploring the North Devon/Cornwall coastline and countryside.
