Kilham is a small village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, tucked onto the northern edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. It has roots that go back to medieval times and retains a traditional village feel, with older stone and brick buildings clustered around a green, a parish church and a village hall that anchor local life.
The local economy is largely agricultural, with farms and small rural enterprises, but the village also attracts walkers and wildlife enthusiasts because of its Wolds lanes and easy reach of the coast at Bridlington. Day-to-day services and markets are nearby in the market town of Driffield, and community activities, village fĂȘtes and a pub or two keep a close-knit social scene.
