Rudston is a small village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, on the western edge of the Yorkshire Wolds within the Great Wold Valley in England. Its most striking feature is the Rudston Monolith, the tallest standing stone in England, which stands in the churchyard of St Andrew's Church, a medieval building with listed status.
The surrounding countryside is classic chalk Wolds – dotted with Bronze Age barrows and archaeological finds – and the local economy is largely agricultural. Rudston retains a quiet, rural character but attracts walkers, history enthusiasts and archaeologists keen to explore the prehistoric landscape and the village's historic church.
