Wold Newton is a small village and civil parish set on the rolling chalk hills of the Yorkshire Wolds in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It feels quintessentially rural, with a scattering of stone and brick cottages, working farms and winding lanes, the surrounding countryside dominated by arable fields and patches of chalk grassland.
