Little London is a small rural settlement in the borough of Basingstoke and Deane, in Hampshire, England. It sits amid the rolling chalk downland and farmland typical of north Hampshire, linked by country lanes and footpaths and within easy reach of the larger town of Basingstoke, which supplies most shops, schools and rail connections.
Historically the hamlet grew as an agricultural cluster of cottages and farmsteads; today it is largely residential, with many people commuting to nearby towns while local life centres on neighbouring village facilities. The name Little London is a traditional one seen in several counties and is more a quaint local idiosyncrasy than any direct connection with the capital, London.
