St. Mary Bourne is a small village and civil parish in the borough of Basingstoke and Deane in Hampshire, England, set along the chalk stream of the River Bourne in the Bourne Valley on the edge of the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its valley setting gives classic Hampshire countryside of water meadows, willows and flint-and-thatch cottages, and the stream is a notable local ecological feature.
Historically the settlement grew around its medieval parish church and agricultural trades; today it combines farming with residents who commute to nearby Basingstoke and Andover. Village life remains active, centred on the village hall, pub, shop and annual events such as a fete and a range of local clubs, which help preserve a strong community spirit in a picturesque rural setting.
