Dewsbury West is a ward in the metropolitan borough of Kirklees in West Yorkshire, covering the western side of the town of Dewsbury and some adjoining suburbs. The area mixes residential streets and former mill sites, and sits close to the Calder Valley and the M62 corridor, giving decent transport links towards Leeds and Huddersfield.
