Kirklees sits in West Yorkshire on the western edge of the Pennines, a mix of post‑industrial towns and sweeping moorland. Its largest town is Huddersfield, and other notable settlements include Dewsbury, Batley and Holmfirth, so you get steep valleys, reservoirs and scenic walking country alongside dense urban streets and Victorian terraces.
