Bramhope is a large village and civil parish on the north‑west edge of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. Set along the A660 between the city and Otley, it sits on higher ground above the Aire valley with pleasant views towards Wharfedale and easy access to green spaces such as Golden Acre Park.
Shaped by local stone building and the arrival of the railway, the Victorian Bramhope Tunnel on the line to Harrogate is a notable engineering relic; today the village is largely an affluent commuter community with attractive stone houses, a conservation area, village pubs, sports clubs and an active village hall, so it retains a strong local identity while being closely tied into the wider Leeds economy.
