South Killingholme is a small village and civil parish on the south bank of the Humber Estuary in North Lincolnshire, England. Its low-lying landscape blends reclaimed salt marsh and farmland with a dramatic industrial skyline from nearby docks and terminals, and the estuary margins are often good for birdwatching and coastal walks.
Historically agricultural, the village was reshaped in the 20th century by the growth of oil, petrochemical and shipping activity, bringing employment and large storage terminals to the locality while leaving a compact, village community at its heart with a parish church, village hall and pub. It sits close to the larger port towns of Immingham and Grimsby, which provide wider services and connections.
