Warkton is a tiny village and civil parish in North Northamptonshire, a few miles from Kettering. Set among gently rolling farmland and the parkland of nearby Boughton House, it has a distinctly rural, quiet feel and attracts residents who commute into the surrounding towns while enjoying village life.
Despite its size, Warkton is notable for St Edmund's Church, which houses three celebrated 18th‑century marble monuments to the Montagu family often referred to as the Warkton tombs and regarded as fine examples of Georgian funerary art. The settlement retains an agricultural character, a handful of listed buildings and a small, close‑knit community shaped by the neighbouring estate landscape.
