The area covers the neighbouring villages of Glinton and Castor on the northern edge of Peterborough, where gravel uplands meet the low-lying The Fens beside the River Nene. Largely residential and popular with commuters into Peterborough, it still feels distinctly villagey thanks to greens, local pubs, primary schools and active community groups.
