Evercreech is a village and civil parish in Somerset, set in rolling countryside on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills and the Somerset Levels. It lies not far from market towns such as Shepton Mallet and Frome, offering a rural base with good road links to larger centres.
Historically the settlement grew from agriculture and expanded in the Victorian era when the Somerset and Dorset railway had a junction nearby, and you can still spot traces of that rail heritage alongside a medieval parish church. Today Evercreech retains a strong village feel with pubs, a village hall, local events and small shops, while the local economy mixes farming, local businesses and commuters to nearby towns.
