West Bagborough is a small village and civil parish in Somerset, about three miles north of Taunton, sitting on the eastern slopes of the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its elevated position gives open views across the Vale of Taunton and a landscape of pasture, hedgerows and small woods, with quiet lanes and footpaths linking it to the surrounding countryside.
The community remains largely rural, with farming still important alongside residents who commute into nearby towns; village life is marked by traditional buildings and a historic parish church, and the locality is popular with walkers and nature-lovers drawn to the tranquillity and heritage of the Quantock Hills.
