Brett Vale is an electoral ward in Babergh, set in rural Suffolk, England, taking its name from the valley of the River Brett. The area is characterised by rolling arable and pastoral countryside, hedgerows and pockets of ancient woodland, with small villages and hamlets linked by country lanes and a network of footpaths and bridleways.
Its historic character shows in timber-framed cottages and medieval parish churches, while the local economy remains largely agricultural alongside small businesses and a number of residents who commute to larger centres such as Ipswich and Colchester. Community life tends to centre on village halls, pubs and churches, and the landscape makes the ward popular for walking and rural tourism.
