Shalford is a village and civil parish in the borough of Guildford, Surrey, England, lying just south‑east of the town centre at the point where the River Tillingbourne meets the River Wey. Its riverside setting and nearby woodlands make it popular for walks and informal recreation, and it sits on the edge of the Surrey Hills countryside.
Historically the settlement grew up around mills and small riverside industry, and several historic buildings and a conservation area survive. Today Shalford is largely residential and functions as a commuter community for Guildford and London, but it still retains local shops, pubs and village events that preserve a distinct local character.
