West Clandon is a small village and civil parish in the borough of Guildford, Surrey, England, set near the rolling chalk of the North Downs and surrounded by parkland and farmland. It benefits from a local railway station on the Guildford–London line, making it a popular commuter settlement while retaining a distinctly rural feel with footpaths and countryside close at hand.
The village is best known for the great estate at Clandon Park and the 18th‑century Palladian house, Clandon Park House, long associated with the Onslow family and now in the care of the National Trust after a major fire in 2015. West Clandon remains largely residential, with a small community centred on the church and village facilities, and a local character shaped by conservation of its historic buildings and surrounding landscape.
