West Horsley is a small rural parish in the borough of Guildford, in Surrey, England, set among the rolling chalk downland of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It combines farmland, horse country and a compact historic village centre, and is within commuting distance of London, which gives a mix of long-standing agricultural life and commuter households.
The parish is perhaps best known for the historic manor West Horsley Place, a house with medieval origins that has in recent years hosted cultural events and conservation projects; the village also retains listed cottages, a parish church and an engaged local community that runs village activities and campaigns to protect the surrounding landscape and heritage.
