South Nutfield is a village in the district of Tandridge, in the county of Surrey, England. It lies just south of the older village of Nutfield, on the edge of the North Downs and surrounding Green Belt, and is within easy reach of towns such as Redhill and Reigate, with rail services from Nutfield station linking towards London.
The settlement expanded in the 20th century around local clay workings and brickworks, a history still visible in patches of woodland and former pits that give the area a semi‑rural character. Nearby Victorian landmarks such as Nutfield Priory hint at the older country‑house landscape; today South Nutfield is largely residential, popular with commuters but retaining an active village community and easy access to countryside walks.
