Bletchingley and Nutfield is a largely rural ward in Tandridge, Surrey, England, encompassing the historic hilltop village of Bletchingley and the neighbouring village of Nutfield. The area sits on the undulating countryside at the edge of the North Downs, with ancient church buildings, earthwork remains and a number of listed houses giving a strong historic character; Nutfield Priory, a Victorian Gothic country house now used as a hotel and events venue, is a local landmark. There are also pockets of wetland and meadow that are valued for wildlife, most notably the marshy areas around Nutfield that attract birdlife and walkers.
Economically the ward mixes traditional agriculture, small local businesses and a significant commuter element, thanks to good transport links into nearby towns such as Redhill and Reigate and onward to London. Community life is centred on village halls, churches and pubs, with active local groups and events that keep a strong village feel despite its proximity to larger urban centres.
