Tatsfield is a rural village and civil parish in the borough of Tandridge, Surrey, in south‑eastern England, perched on the high ground of the North Downs. Sitting close to the county border with Kent and a short drive from Oxted, it enjoys wide chalk‑downland views, commons, farmland and pockets of mature woodland that are popular with walkers.
The village retains a strong sense of community around its village hall, church, pub and small shops and, while many residents commute into London, Tatsfield keeps a distinctly rural character with conservation areas and species‑rich grassland. A historic radio transmitting station on the ridge is a local landmark and a network of public footpaths and bridleways links the parish into the surrounding North Downs countryside.
