Busbridge is a small civil parish in the borough of Waverley, in the county of Surrey, lying immediately beside the town of Godalming. It retains a quietly rural character despite its proximity to larger centres, with mature woodland, ornamental ponds and a number of historic houses and estate gardens that give the area a leafy, semi-rural feel.
Life in Busbridge is largely residential and commuter-orientated, with many people working in nearby towns or in London thanks to good rail and road links via Godalming. Local community activity tends to centre on the parish council, the village church and seasonal events, while the surrounding countryside provides easy walking and recreational opportunities on the fringes of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
