Coombes is a tiny rural civil parish in the district of Adur, in West Sussex, England. It sits inland from the Sussex coast near the small towns of Shoreham-by-Sea and Lancing, occupying a small chalk valley (a "coombe") surrounded by farmland and rolling downland.
Although very small in population, the parish is notable for its historic parish church with medieval features and an otherwise quiet, agricultural character; the area appeals to walkers and those seeking a secluded slice of Sussex countryside close to the coast and local market towns.
