Felpham is a coastal village and civil parish in the district of Arun, West Sussex, England, lying just west of Bognor Regis on the Sussex coast. It has a long shingle beach and promenade with views across the English Channel towards Selsey, and sits close to nature reserves such as Pagham Harbour and the South Downs; today it combines a traditional village community with commuter housing for nearby towns and a modest local economy of shops and services.
The village is best known for its association with the poet and artist William Blake, who lived and worked in Felpham around 1800 and whose presence is still commemorated locally. Historically the area moved from agriculture and fishing into Victorian seaside tourism, and its mix of conservation-minded marshland, community clubs and historical interest gives it a quietly distinctive character on the Sussex coast.
