Yapton is a village and civil parish in the district of Arun, in West Sussex, England. It sits on the low-lying coastal plain a few miles inland from the south coast, roughly between Bognor Regis and Arundel, and neighbours the small settlement of Ford and the site of the former RAF Ford airfield.
Historically an agricultural community, Yapton now mixes farming with a notable commuter population who travel to nearby towns. The village retains an active social life centred on its parish church, village hall, local pub and cricket club, and contains pockets of historic buildings and conservation interest that reflect its rural past.
