Pitton is a small village in Wiltshire, set in rolling chalk downland a short drive from the cathedral city of Salisbury. It has the feel of a classic English village: a mixture of older stone and brick cottages, surrounding farmland and quiet lanes that make it popular with walkers and people who commute to nearby towns.
Historically agricultural, the village today combines farming with a residential community and local amenities such as a parish church, village hall and a pub, and hosts the sort of community events and fĂȘtes that sustain village life. Its location also gives easy access to the broader prehistoric and rural landscape that characterises much of Wiltshire.
