West Tisbury is a small, predominantly rural civil parish just to the west of the larger village of Tisbury in the Nadder valley of Wiltshire, England. It sits within the rolling chalk downland characteristic of the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a patchwork of arable fields, pasture, small woods and hedgerows and the odd Bronze Age earthwork typical of the region.
Historically tied to agriculture and local estates, the parish contains a number of period cottages and farmsteads and retains a quiet village community feel; social life often links into nearby settlements and market towns. The local economy is still largely farming-based, supplemented by small businesses and rural tourism, while good transport links via Tisbury station give access to Salisbury and London for commuters and visitors.
