Kyre is a small, rural parish in the Malvern Hills district of Worcestershire, a few miles from the market town of Tenbury Wells. It sits amid rolling farmland and wooded parkland and is best known for the estate and grounds of Kyre Park, with its lakes, veteran trees and waymarked walks that pick out the contours of the local valley near the River Teme.
Historically the area has been shaped by country houses and estate management, and many buildings and landscape features are listed or of local historic interest. The economy remains largely agricultural, supplemented by small local businesses and people who commute to larger towns, while social life is quiet and community-focused with occasional open days, local events and easy access to markets and festivals in nearby towns.
