Clydesdale South

Clydesdale South is an electoral ward in South Lanarkshire covering a swathe of rural and former industrial communities to the south of the central belt. The ward includes towns such as Lesmahagow and Coalburn and stretches into rolling farmland and moorland on the edge of the Southern Uplands, giving it a mix of open landscapes popular with walkers and quieter village life rather than dense urban development.
