Dwygyfylchi is a small coastal village in Conwy, North Wales, perched where the foothills of Snowdonia meet the Irish Sea. It sits between Penmaenmawr and Conwy, with headlands and ridges giving easy access to coastal paths and mountain walks and offering views across to the Great Orme.
Historically the area was shaped by farming and the nearby granite quarries of Penmaenmawr, while today it blends a close‑knit village community with tourism, holiday accommodation and commuter households. Walkers favour routes up to Tal‑y‑Fan, along the Sychnant Pass or into the northern Carneddau, and the village still shows its rural heritage in local shops, chapels and a quiet, community‑minded feel.
