Llansanffraid Glan Conwy is a small historic village on the banks of the River Conwy in Conwy, Wales. The name refers to the parish church of St Ffraid and the "Glan Conwy" suffix (bank of the Conwy); the settlement grew from a rural parish with links to river trade and local farming, and retains a compact village feel with older stone buildings and a strong local identity.
Geographically it sits beside the Conwy estuary and within easy reach of Snowdonia and other parts of North Wales, so birdwatching, walking and day visitors are common alongside longer‑standing local industries. Socially the village is bilingual and community‑minded, with small shops, pubs and volunteer groups serving both long‑term residents and commuters who work in nearby towns.
