Llansanffraid is a compact, largely riverside ward in Conwy, Wales, centred on the village often called Llansanffraid Glan Conwy beside the Conwy estuary. The area has medieval roots - reflected in its parish church dedicated to St Ffraid - and a distinctive tidal landscape that has shaped local life and small-scale maritime and agricultural activities for centuries.
Historically there was modest shipbuilding and fishing, but today the ward is mainly residential with a strong community feel, local shops, pubs and events, and an economy that mixes tourism with commuting to nearby coastal towns such as Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. Good road links (notably the A55) make it an accessible pocket of traditional Welsh village life with easy access to larger centres.
