Trelogan is a small village in Flintshire, in the north-east of Wales, set on rolling farmland not far from the North Wales coast. It sits within easy reach of market towns such as Holywell and Prestatyn and offers good access to local high ground like Halkyn Mountain and the distinctive ridge of the Clwydian Range, making it popular with walkers and anyone after countryside views.
Historically the locality has roots in agriculture and the upland mining that shaped much of Flintshire, and the village name itself reflects the common Welsh "tre-" element meaning a settlement. Today Trelogan has a small, tight-knit community with village facilities and events, while many residents commute to nearby towns; its blend of rural character and proximity to coastal and upland attractions is a defining feature.
