Llanbadrig sits on the rugged north coast of the Isle of Anglesey, centred around the small harbour at Cemaes Bay and a stretch of dramatic cliffs, sea caves and sandy coves. Offshore is the little rocky islet Ynys Badrig (known in English as Middle Mouse), a favoured haul‑out for grey seals and a noted spot for seabirds, with the Wales Coast Path passing through for walkers enjoying open sea views across the Irish Sea.
The settlement is best known for the clifftop Church of St Padrig, linked by local tradition to St Patrick and believed to have early Christian origins, while the local economy has long combined fishing and farming with a steady contribution from tourism. It remains a small, closely knit community on Anglesey where Welsh language and local events continue to shape everyday life.
