Rhosybol is a small rural community on the north-central part of the Isle of Anglesey in Wales, set among rolling farmland and heath. The parish sits close to the large reservoir at Llyn Alaw, which, together with nearby upland ground, makes the area attractive for walkers and birdwatchers and offers clear views towards Snowdonia and the Irish Sea on fine days.
Locally the village retains a strong Welsh-speaking identity and village life centres on the chapel, community hall and the primary school, with agriculture still important to the economy alongside commuters who travel to centres such as Llangefni and Amlwch. There is a quiet, lived-in historic character to the place, reflected in traditional farmsteads and community events rather than large-scale tourism.
