Llaneugrad is a small, largely rural parish on the eastern side of Anglesey in Wales, centred on a modest medieval church dedicated to St Eugrad. The landscape mixes rolling farmland with a rugged coastline and coastal paths, giving easy access to popular nearby beaches and bays such as Benllech and Red Wharf Bay, and it attracts walkers, birdwatchers and those after a quieter seaside experience.
Historically the community has strong agricultural roots and a maritime backdrop, and today the local economy combines farming with tourism, holiday accommodation and small local enterprises. Socially it retains a distinct Welsh-speaking character with village and church activities at the heart of community life, while larger towns like Beaumaris are within easy reach for additional services.
